Andrzej Bartosiewicz

President of the CISO #Poland Foundation and founder of CISO4U, a company providing advanced consulting and cybersecurity solutions for the critical infrastructure area (NIS2), including the railways, energy, pharmaceuticals and finance (DORA) sectors.

Expert in cyber security in the area of IT and industrial control systems (ICS). A graduate in Computer Science from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, he received his PhD in Computer Science from the Warsaw University of Technology in 2008. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Research Center “Cyber Security” at Warsaw University of Technology.

Professional experience in cybersecurity and information security management for major Polish companies and global corporations – CISO Thales, Netia Group, Polish Energy Group (PGE) and KOMBUD.

He served as CEO of California-based cyber security technology start-up Yonita Inc. Director of the Domain Department at NASK for 9 years.  He started his career at COMARCH, which he left as Executive Director / Director of the ERP Systems Center. He led numerous international projects in the area of cybersecurity for the European Commission in the Balkans and represented the Polish Government at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) in Geneva. For 4 years he served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the international organization CENTR. He holds security certifications and is a member of many industry organizations.
