Rita has been in Brussels since 2017, working at Flint Global advising clients on EU policy and regulatory developments, with a particular focus on digital technology. Rita also led the policy and advocacy activities of a Brussels-based NGO working on tackling disinformation, with a specific focus on hybrid-attacks, platform regulation, and media policy. She previously gained Brussels public affairs experience in another European NGO.

Before arriving in Brussels, she worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania in the international organisations department.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and a Master’s degree in international communications. She is currently pursuing an LLM in IP and ICT Law at the KU Leuven University in Belgium.
